Sloe Noon

Sloe Noon is Anna Olivia Böke, an accomplished guitarist and vocalist drawing inspiration from both countries she has lived in. With influences of British Alternative Rock and the Ruhr area’s Krautrock beats, Sloe Noon creates a unique blend of guitar-driven pop, grunge and shoegaze. Her name is owed to a visit to a chip shop in her former home Brighton playing around with fridge poetry magnets on the walls. Later combined with a sloe gin nightcap offered at her nan’s, things were all set. Once safeguarding her creations in her Brighton student flat, Anna has since returned to her home country Germany and let her songs unfetter from the bedroom. In 2022 she released a self-recorded EP called ‘Liminality’ whilst venturing onto her first tours and festivals across the UK, Germany and France in 2023/24. With the support of live drums, guitar, and bass their live performance invites you into the dreamy bedroom where the songs were written, to then collectively tear down its walls. Followed up by a triptych of singles in the first half of 2024 collaborating with producer Theo Verney, Sloe Noon is fast emerging as a self-sustaining solo-artist.
