Dj Lickweed is a DnB/Breaks/Glitch Hop DJ originally from Israel and now based out of Melbourne, Australia. First started DJing in 2003 and was mainly involved in the Hip-Hop / Turntabilisim scene back in Israel. In 2004 he was first exposed to the underground DnB & Breakbeat scene and fell in love with the sound, vibe and the world that is Broken Beat. Lickweed moved to Melbourne in 2007 and since than has been playing around town in many venues and is now a resident DJ at Brown Alley, Miss Libertine and Loop Bar. Lickweed has played alongside numerous artists such as Andy C, Stanton Warriors, A Skills, DJ Marky, Scratch Perverts, Excision, Mampi Swift, Camo & Krooked, Crissy Criss, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Loadstar, Kenny Ken, Aphrodite, Cyantific and many more. Expect bass heavy banging tunes, fast mixing sprinkled with some beat juggling and scratching skills when this bad-boy jumps on the wheels of steel.
